The Anatomy of a Heidi Klum Halloween
Twenty-five parties in, Heidi Klum’s Halloween countdown runs on her own Instagram: a skinned body, a worm, an alien with its intestines out, and this week a tray of prosthetics that look a lot like organs. The reveal is Saturday night in New York.
Heidi Klum has not said what her 2026 Halloween costume is. Since October 24 she has posted two photos and a video of colourful prosthetics that followers have read as a brain, intestines, the inside of a stomach, a coral reef, a Clicker from The Last of Us and an autopsy; she told People in September it would be "very, very bloody." Between the clues she has reposted her past costumes, including the 2011 skinned body and the 2019 alien with its intestines out. The reveal is at her 25th annual party in New York on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Every October, Heidi Klum’s Instagram turns into an advent calendar, and this year the doors open on body parts. A tray of pink and blue prosthetics on October 24. A second tray three days later. A video of something that looks like it grew in a damp basement. And in between, one a day, the costumes of the last fifteen years, reposted for anyone who had forgotten that this is a woman who once went out as her own muscles. Nobody has guessed it. The reveal is Saturday night, at her twenty-fifth party.
The clues: two photos and a video of prosthetics, October 24, 27 and 28, none of them explained.
Her words: “very, very bloody,” to People in September; her prosthetics designer Mike Marino calls it “one of the most elaborate costumes ever made.”
The guesses: a brain, intestines, “the inside of a stomach,” a coral reef, a Clicker from The Last of Us, an autopsy.
The reveal: Saturday night, October 31, at her 25th annual Halloween party in New York.
The clue: One week to go

The one thing she has said out loud came in September, to People: the costume would be “very, very bloody.” Everything else is in the comments.
The precedent: She has done insides before

If 2026 really is intestines, the real thing would take some fabric. Laid end to end, an adult’s intestine averaged about 26 feet in a French anatomical study of 200 bodies.
The rest of the calendar: The countdown, in her reposts

One more day: Saturday night, New York

The party is Saturday, October 31, in New York, her twenty-fifth. Until then the comments are the show, and the show is split between people who see a coral reef and people who see a digestive system. We know which side we are on. Put your guess below, and if you need something to read while you wait, Matthew McConaughey’s theory about your morning and the Halloween candy with the most fiber are right here.

Every image on this page is one of Heidi Klum’s own Instagram posts, embedded from her account, with her captions as posted between October 24 and October 30, 2026. The follower guesses are from the comments under her October 24 post. Her description of the costume is from People (September 2026); the 2019 details, including the thirteen hours, are from HollywoodLife’s report from the night; the intestine figure is the post-mortem average from Hounnou and colleagues, 2002. The party count follows the photo-agency captions for 2024 (23rd) and 2025 (24th). Nothing here is a claim about what the costume is.
