Most brand content is disposable. We don’t make that kind.
Gut Health Times takes on a small number of brand partnerships — features, placements and interactive work built to the same standard as our journalism, clearly labelled as paid, and made to outlast the campaign that bought them.
What you’re actually buying
Four things we can prove-
A permanent asset, not a post that scrolls away
A feature here is a URL that stays up, stays indexed and keeps being found long after a campaign flight has ended. It ships with NewsArticle structured data, enters our news sitemap, and is pushed to search engines the moment it publishes.
-
Original art on every feature
No stock photography, ever. Every story on this site carries commissioned illustration drawn in the paper’s own flat-vector house style — which is most of the reason our pages look like nobody else’s.
-
A registered news publication behind it
Gut Health Times is a verified publication in Google Publisher Center, with a verified Search Console property, a live news sitemap and per-article publisher and author markup. The plumbing that makes editorial legible to search is already built.
-
A desk that covers this beat and nothing else
Seventy-odd original articles on digestion, the microbiome and the science underneath both. The site currently surfaces for more than a thousand distinct gut-health search queries — so your story lands beside the questions your customers are already typing.
The inventory
Priced per brief — ask usThe Sponsored Feature
A full-length feature about your brand, product or founder — reported, written and art-directed by our desk to the same standard as everything else we publish, and labelled as a paid partnership.
- 1,200–1,800 words, written by our editorial team
- Original commissioned cover art in the paper’s own style
- Lead placement on the front page through launch week
- A permanent URL with NewsArticle structured data
- Submitted to search engines on publish, not weeks later
- A factual-accuracy review before it goes live
The Leaderboard
The long, thin unit the paper runs between sections and inside articles — the format a reader already understands as advertising, built to our own typographic standard rather than dropped in from an ad network.
- Run of site, or targeted to a single section
- Designed in-house to sit inside the page, not on top of it
- Marked “Advertisement”, as it should be
- Monthly flights, click reporting included
The Dispatch
A labelled placement in the weekly reader email. Our readers opted in for one considered dispatch on the science of digestion — so the attention waiting in that inbox is deliberate, not incidental.
- One placement per issue — never a stack of them
- Written in the voice of the letter, so it gets read
- Full list and engagement figures, in writing, before you commit
- Open and click figures after the send
Interactive
Presenting sponsorship of our interactive work — the Poop Quiz and the tools that follow it — or something built from scratch for your brief.
- Presenting credit on an existing tool
- Or a bespoke quiz, calculator or explainer
- Built by the same team that built the rest of this site
- Yours to point your own channels at
How it works
Inquiry to publication-
You inquire
Tell us the brand and roughly what you have in mind. A person replies, usually inside two working days.
-
We scope it
A short written proposal: the angle, the format, what you get, what it costs and when it runs. No decks.
-
We make it
We report, write and illustrate. You get a draft and a factual-accuracy review before anything is published.
-
It runs
It publishes, it is labelled, it is promoted, and you get the numbers it did — not a rounded-up version of them.
The rules that make this worth paying for
Every claim on this page is one you can check, and every figure we quote you is the real one, in writing, before you spend anything. What you are buying is craft, permanence and a specialist beat — work made to our own editorial standard, on a title that covers this subject and nothing else.
- Every paid placement is labelled as paid, on the page and in the byline.
- Links in paid placements carry rel="sponsored", exactly as Google asks.
- We report facts and evidence. We do not write diagnostic or treatment claims.
- You review for accuracy. We keep the pen.
- If it is wrong for our readers, we will say no and refund you.

Straight answers
The questions brands actually askWill the article be labelled as paid?
Yes, always, and prominently — at the top of the page and in the byline area. This is required of us by the FTC and by Google, and frankly it is also the reason the rest of the paper is worth advertising in. Readers trust a title that tells them the truth about which pieces were paid for.
Do we get to approve the copy?
You get a full draft and a factual-accuracy review: anything wrong about your product, your people or your claims gets fixed before publication. What you do not get is the pen. That line is what keeps the placement worth buying, and we hold it politely but completely.
Do the links pass SEO value?
Links inside paid placements carry rel="sponsored", which is exactly what Google asks publishers to do. Anyone selling you unmarked do-follow links is selling you a future penalty. What a feature does give you is a genuine, indexed, well-structured page about your brand on a specialist title — which is the durable version of the same goal.
Can you make health claims about our product?
We can describe what your product is, what it contains, what it is designed to do and what the evidence behind it actually says. We will not write diagnostic or treatment claims, and we will not imply a product treats a condition. That is a legal line as much as an editorial one, and holding it protects you too.
How big is your audience?
We put the current figures — sessions, impressions, list size — in writing before you commit, and we would rather you judge us on real ones than on the inflated numbers this industry hands out. What matters more for a specialist title is who is reading. People arrive here mid-question, searching for a specific answer about digestion, and land on a page built to answer it. Our profile and section pages earn click-through rates most general-interest sites never see, because they rank for the exact thing the reader typed.
Will you turn work down?
Regularly. If a product is wrong for our readers, or the claims behind it do not hold up, we will say so and refund anything paid. It is a short conversation and it costs us less than the alternative.
