Corrections
Gut Health Times corrects errors of fact promptly and in public. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
How to reach us. Email editor@guthealthtimes.org with the article URL and the point you believe is incorrect. If you are the subject of an article, say so; those requests go to the front of the queue.
What we do. We verify the point ourselves against the primary source rather than taking any party’s word for it, including our own. A factual error is corrected the same day wherever possible.
How corrections appear. When we change an article’s substance, the article carries a dated note saying what changed. Small fixes that do not alter meaning, such as spelling or a broken link, are made silently. We do not quietly delete or rewrite an article to make an error disappear.
What we will not do. We do not remove accurate reporting because a subject dislikes it, and we do not soften a verified finding as a condition of a correction. A request to fix a fact is welcome; a request to change a conclusion is a different thing, and we will say so.
Our sourcing and evidence standards are set out in our editorial standards.
